It’s been very quiet in school this week with different sets of pupils out at various times and others making the most of the good weather to take their learning outdoors.

My blog will be brief this week as I’m supposed to be in two places at the same time and have got lots to do! Assembly Team were in on Monday and delivered their final assembly for the year although I have emailed Debbie with dates for next year so they can continue to come into school.

I’ve been out of school quite a lot this week attending meetings and courses and don’t feel that I’ve seen everybody or been part of things as much as I like although staff have been keeping me up to date on what’s happening so I am aware of several things, both good and bad!

Apologies for the delay in posting my blog this week but as you know, it has been an exceptionally busy week in school. Lots of people have put in extra effort to make the week very memorable and I hope you’ve enjoyed receiving the instant updates through our new Facebook page.

The tests themselves were read more…

I can’t believe it’s less than a week since our Y3 classes took part in the May Day celebrations at Eureka Park alongside the Y2s from Elmsleigh. All four classes did amazingly well after just one practice session each and I know that Charlotte (the lady who organised the event) was really pleased with how well it went and is read more…

It’s been lovely to see everyone back in school after a well-deserved Easter break and I must say that the vast majority of people are displaying a very positive mind-set which is exactly what we want to see in school. This fits in exactly with the work the staff did on our INSET day when we learned new ways to read more…
